The Ginty Principle
Our world-famous Ginty, the most
popular trouble club in golf, was invented and introduced in the
early 70's. For the last twenty years, it has been used on golf
courses throughout the world, making it a true international
benchmark of the golfing industry.
The Original Ginty may be the best utility wood ever designed. It features a laminated wood head, developed specifically to give you both distance and forgiveness in every swing you take from the fairway, sand or rough.
The weight in the clubhead is distributed around the clubface to give it a wider sweetspot and maximum distance on off-center hits. But instead of distributing the weight evenly around the head, the Ginty distributes the weight to concentrate the center of the gravity lower in the clubhead. Its boat keel sole design and low center of gravity put the weight low in the sole to get more mass and power on the ball.
The patented Keel sole plate is the secret to the Ginty's success. This magic Keel spreads through stubborn rough like the hull on a boat, and reaches down to extend the sole to pick the ball up from tight lies and even bunkers. The Ginty Keel provides an extremely low center of gravity, and minimizes surface drag while providing directional stablity.
The patented Ginty concept and performance has often been
imitated but will never be matched. Ginty woods are available in
a 14o #2 Wood, a 17o #3 Wood, a 23o
#5 Wood, a 29o #7 Wood Utility,
and a 34o #9 Wood. Available
right hand only.
